I am controlling a servo directly with the HC11 by varying the duty cycle of the output signal. But I think the servo may be pulling more current than the microprosessor can source does anyone know of a good circuit which will help this probelm. thanks

You should be connecting the power and ground wires of the servo to the supply and then driving the data signal with the micro. They do not draw much current from the data line and many have done this with a micro, so your problem may be elsewhere.
