Geiger counter click sound simulator circuit

I ended up using a 555 metronome circuit like this one;

Then I put touch plates across the 1 meg charge resistor. The touch plates will go on the under side of the handle.
If you don't touch the plates you get slow clicks for background radiation.
When you touch the plates the click rate increases like it is seeing high radiation.
The touch plates give it a nice randomness.
