Full duplex RF module?

Anybody know of a cheap (<$25) RF Transceiver capable of doing full duplex transmission, or maybe even half duplex times 2 (2 independent channels capable of doing either transmission or receiving)? Something with 115kbps+ data rate preferably.

XBee units are about $20 each.

Yep, already got XBee, but they're half duplex only. I need to transmit and receive at the same time.

I found something decent, LT2510 from Laird, $35 Digi-Key - PRM110-ND (Manufacturer - PRM110)

Need something about $10 cheaper though.

You said 115k preferably, which doesn't answer the question of what bandwidth you actually NEED.

Hi fanaticelectro,

if frequency is not an issue you might check out the RFM22 transceiver (Hope RF, Professional RF IC&module, RF Components and Digital Sensor designers and manufacturers - HOPE Microelectronics).

Frequency range is programmable from 240 to 930MHz.

Hope moudules are well below US$ and using two of them you'll have full duplex.

The datasheet (pdf) is 4,189KB and too large for an attachment.
