Hi.
I have a pair of ev 10 speakers and the amps have gone in them both, its going to cost me $490 per board to replace, i have picked up a quest qa2000 amp.

I have decided to use the amp to power the speakers and make a couple of cross overs,
I have done the research and found the speakers in the boxes are both 8ohm,

This is the amp Specs are below QA2000
The speaker specs are
(the blown amp modules)
Amplifier Power 800 Watts (RMS)
Crossover Frequency 1800 Hz

and this is what i worked out for the crossover to build,

Can someone explain what type of inductors and capacitors to use as it will be pushing high power through it and dont want it to burn out, also i cant find the inductor values anywhere too?

thanks

Air core inductors are popular with speakers.
Monacor in Germany (distribute worldwide) do a range of pre made crossover chokes.
You can also buy pre made crossovers.
Beware if audiophoolery, you only need crossovers as good as the system warrants.

Parts Express sells crossover networks as well as separate components.
