Just double-checking, but tying the RESET pin low will result in normal device operation, right? Just making sure it's not like an active-low reset or something. I normally don't use stuff this old :) Thanks!
 
Yes, the datasheet from Texas Instruments says that a high on the Reset pin causes the stages to be reset.
