cascading Nigel's 8x8 matrix

I have made a working model of Nigel's 8x8 matrix using my own scrolling message. Can I add more 8x8 matrix modules using the code I have" which is mostly Nigel's" and if so what do I need, and how do I go about it. As my coding experience is very limited any help I get would be appreciated. This is just a hobby for me in my later retirement years, that I enjoy very much. Thank you.

To extend it you would need to move to larger PIC's, so you have at least one spare pin to transfer data to the next block.
