Can somebody find me a timer circuit please?

i was wonderinf anybody knows where to get a simple timer circuit from that has 2 chips, and a sound output, and is not too complicated!

I assume you want the sound after a time delay, how much time? How long should the sound continue, indefinitly? What starts the time delay? What voltage is available for power? Why two chips?

it doesnt really matter as long as it is not complicated, i just need it for reserach on a project and the project has to have 2 chips.

so anything will do as long as it is a timer with sound, with 2 chips and its not very very hard.

Try two lm555 timers. The instructor must have thought you could do it, so I am not going to design it for you.
