bose wave radio static

Hi all. My old school bose awrc-1g has staitc coming out of the left channel only, no matter the volume or the function. Shaking the unit does nothing. These things seem expensive to repair, and I am determined to do it at home. Does anyone know of a source for schematics?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Though I do not operate a voltmeter I can solder things and read circuits to some degree.
