Best oscope for around $1k?

Well, I think the title sums up what I'm looking for. What would you guys recommend for an oscilloscope if I just want to spend around a grand?

A reasonably used /surplus HP or Tektronix scope IMHO. Far better than new Instek, B&K, Hitachi, etc. The Hameg brand was fairly decent as is Leader if you desire to purchase new.
