Hello everyone

I want to build a toy for my cat inspired by one sold in the states called mouse in the house.

I'm ok for the mechanical part but don't have a clue for the electronic bit.
The idea is this:
-a motor is activated when a push-buton is pressed
-it keeps going until the mouse reach its destination(cat is likely to hold and stop the mouse so timer won't work)
-when the mouse is back in a captor stops the motor until the button is pushed again.

I don't care about timer, programmation or sound like the original toy does.A spring loaded gear will save the motor when the cat holds the mouse.

I was thinking about using batteries.

All suggestions welcome

Thanks.
