Laptops only really get hot when placed on a lap!!!! My Gateway ( previous laptop) NEVER got hot even when running for several hours.... My new laptop ( Samsung ) does get a little bit warm, but only when running UT3...
Both have never been on my lap, they have both lived on the dining room table...
