Is anybody here a vet of the "Electronic Projects for Musicians" army? I am having a point of confusion on the first project (the preamp). It appears to me that the input jack (J1) is present twice! On the schematic, the hot connection goes to point "I" and the negative to the chassis ground. On the component layout, however, there is a piece clearly marked "J1" physically between R10 and IC1. It appears to be connected to pin 7 (-Vcc) of IC1 and D4. :?:
