What are the positive voltages available on the project.?

The ICL7660A is rated to -12V. The MAX853 is rated to -9V, if that will do.

If the current is small you can use an RS232 driver... it generates +10,-5 and -10.. but with a small signal current... Is this for driving LCD bias? If so, there is the MAX637 https://www.digikey.co.uk/product-s...s-dc-dc-switching-regulators/2556570?k=max637 .

Here's a simple 3 transistor circuit that will give -10v (at low current) from 5v or from 12v;

The ubiquitous 555 can generate negative voltage.

UC2572 from TI is dedicated for negative output. I've used it with great success.

Can you post the circuit for generating -10V using the LM337? Do you already have a supply for -12V or so?
