You will never hear of Andrea Ross again after his scheme crashes in flames.

Never seems to work that way. Remember that "Steorn" that Mr RB mentioned? That story has been good for a laugh, over and over again. Fake demonstrations, cancelled demonstrations, misinterpreted data, hubris, lies, year after year. Still out there, still making preposterous claims, still getting money somehow.

Randell Mills is another one. Before "Blacklight Power" he had a company called "Hydrocatalysis" back in 1991. Made the same claims, never built a working "hydrino" power generator. Yet Randy's still in business, still getting investment capital, year after year.

These guys never really go away, they just lay low for a while and then pop up a few years down the road.

Has Andrea Ross done anything 'big' before this?

Open mind here EM. Hoping for the best that this is something HUGE that can be accomplished...the Gennie(generator) needs to go though.
We will see what happens then...

Startup sure....then must be disconnected. Permanently.

Cheers,
TV TECH

In 1979, Rossi was awarded a degree in Chemical Engineering from Kensington University, California (USA), thanks to the numerous professional credits earned there for the many registered patents he acquired since the first years of his professional career.

Kensington University has no classrooms, laboratories or dorms. Its students don't play football, join fraternities or linger dreamily on a quadrangle. In fact, the entire campus is housed in a small Glendale office building.

Recruiting from across the nation, the school runs a program in which students studying entirely at home can earn anything from a bachelor's degree to a doctorate--all without ever attending a single class or even meeting their instructors face to face.

From the first link:
In the past 17 years, Rossi has been in 56 trials, forcing him into deep debt because of the financial disaster, and it is still not completely paid off.

Of all 56 prosecutions, the ones which led to imprisonment ended with acquittals; only 5 of the prosecutions for tax crime ended with convictions (with some custody imprisonments). All of the other prosecutions ended with acquittal or for statute of limitation. The same Petroldragon and Omar customers, even those who suffered factory seizures or prosecutions because of involvement with Rossi's companies, testified as witnesses in favor of the defendant.

Electricity from waste heat

In the US Rossi started the consulting firm Leonardo Technologies, Inc. (LTI). He secured a defense contract to evaluate the potential of generating electricity from waste heat by using thermoelectric generators. Such devices are normally only used for refrigeration (Peltier effect), because the efficiency for generating electrical power is only a few percent. Rossi suggested that his devices could attain 20 % efficiency. A demonstration that he conducted at the University of New Hampshire produced 100 volt at 1 ampere (100 watt) during a week. Larger modules would be manufactured in Italy. Rossi sent 27 termoelectric devices for evaluation to the Engineer Research and Development Center; 19 of these did not produce any electricity at all. The remaining units produced less than 1 watt each, instead of the expected 800–1000 watt.[9]

The key giveaway in the writeup is "no radiation above background" and no mention of helium measurements. Fusion produces neutrons, not gammas. Helium is a necessary byproduct and is the confirming. Radiation measurements inside the enclosure should have been a key part of the reports.

If you just want heat generation from a catalyst, my friend has a natural gas powered catalytic heater in his garage. Just requires a spark from a piezo igniter to get it started.

^ Yep. Also, the copper from Rossi's machine happens to have the exact same isotope ratio as what comes out of a copper mine. If you were producing it through any sort of nuclear processes you are going to wind up with more hot material than that.

Curiously, Rossi does not accuse Defkalion of stealing intellectual property. Instead, he insists that it has never known the details how the E-Cat works. He says it cannot make its device operate without his secret catalyst, which it was hoping to acquire. "There are clowns saying they have a technology copied from us, actually they have just a moke up (sic), waiting for the piece of info they need to make a real copy," Rossi wrote in his Journal of Nuclear Physics blog, congratulating himself for outwitting them.

My quote:

LOL! Rossi can be real confident Deflkalion can't get it to work - either!

Wow, I thought this thread died two months ago :p:D
