1 micro sec TTL signal

i want to detect 1 micro second TTL signal .Plz give me some simple suggestion.

You question is too vague so it is difficult to provide a good answer.

Do you want to detect it with a uC like a PIC or an AVR of with logic gates, transistors etc.

sorry for less information actully i am new to electronics that way can't raised query in proper way.here is my problem:

i develop a circuit using 555 to create a event (TTL level 1 micro second ) i want a circuit using any Latch that can detect it and output remain high or low untill i reset the latch.
if i send many signal from 555 ,it latches only once.

Either a SCR or a Set/Reset flip flop should work.
