I have a project with a step up dc/dc converter. It is a ltc3400 chip. At the moment it is working fine 2v to 4v but it seems to stop working down at 1.5v input.( The spec is 0.85v minimum input). I was wondering if anyone knows any problems that might occur as the input voltage is reduced.

I asking cause the transformer is designed to give 380 V output (where the ratio is 7:14), but I only obtain around 277 V in the output of the converter.

I think the output current I get from the DC/DC converter is way too low, it should be at least 6-8 A, not in mA that I got. I think the resistor that I have in the end of the converter is needed in order to obtain 400 V.
