Hello all.
After an argument with an indian call centre this morning i decided to look into the possibility of making a diy caller id system but i don't know how easy it would be.
My idea was basically have a typical 2 line lcd module (of which i have a few lying around) to display the...
Interesting.
Have you any idea how useful they could be in a wind generator experiment? I'v tried testing them and spinning the motor to see what kinda voltage is produced but...and rather ashamedly, i can't get a voltage reading at all.
I'm sure i'm probing the correct pins. :p
Greetings all.
I have managed to pilfer 2 vacuum cleaner motors, 1 rated at 1000W and one at 800W.
Just wondering if anyone had any idea for using them for something? They appear to be a.c. motors though of which i have little experience and need to go over my uni notes again.:rolleyes...
Due to various changes in the kitchen, the house alarm, an accenta 6, no longer works and has been disconnected from the main electrical box. So i was wondering what kind of perhaps interesting things i could do/investigate on the unit.
I was hoping somehow to get the wires to the outside...
Yeah i'v ruled out the batteries being bad as it does it with older ones and brand new ones.
Oddly, if i press the plastic cover fully down on certain occasions the high pitched whine disappears and the batteries charge normal.
I think the answer is to do with this whining noise but i...
I have one of those uniross battery chargers than can charge 2 or 4 AA or AAA's.
However, it seems to not charge them properly. It charges with a high pitched whining noise coming from the charger unit and the green led that shows battery is charged comes on but the battery isn't fully...
Greetings.
I'm currently making a vlf receiver for listening to 'natural radio' (see attached)
I have all the parts, however, the 200mH inductor is causing me hassle.
I can't seem to find inductors anywhere this size, no problem, wind my own.
But the size of a wound air core inductor has me...
Hello all.
My friend charged me with fixing his guitar Amp. It looked to be a simple problem, which was simply that the input socket was broken, a small metal clip wasn't touching the input section when a plug was inserted. After noticing the the headfone socket was the same, i simply...
I sense i'm losing this battle, would that mean that R2 (emitter resistor) should be of a much higher value then? But that would then lower the overall current at the collector?
Ok, err...so how do i know the input impedence? Is it on the datasheet or is there a formula?
How would i amend the circuit to take this into account? I'm struggling a bit.
Just reading that pdf.
