PIC24FJ family and Development Stuff

Thanks Mike , will look at that link , I have not 'explored' PIC usb' yet too many irons in the fire at the moment , also my C coding is that of a 4 year old... I offered to give the explorer stuff, I even have pic32 pim for it, to a local tech college , were not interested ?

I would go other way. Buy PICKit3 and lose Explorer 16. Use breadboard instead.
