Hi can anyone tell me why a 12vdc to 240vac invertor won't run a 400watt MH light fitting ,runs fine with resistive loads ,but there is no output with the light fitting.
thanks todd
Did you notice where it says, "there must be sufficient voltage in a pure sine wave to re-ignite the arc every half cycle."
I bet your inverter has a square-wave output that doesn't have the higher peak voltage of a sine-wave.
