i Need help to decision between two parts

i need help to decision between two parts that make USB to Serial Bridge Controller,
the first is PL2303 from Prolific .
the second FT232BM from FDTI chip.
the cost and available it's a same
so i want to know what's you think?
someone had been working with one from them?
or someone want to recommend about other chip that make a same

I *think* the FT232BM is more popular. I've seen it more applications, anyway. NOt sure why.
