I did a simulation on 2 air gaps with a ramp voltage and it caused the small gap (BDV) to oscillate at 100Khz until the larger gap arced. Interesting. In this case, the pulse is fast and ionization time should be much slower than the rise time once the arc begins, resulting in some delay.

If dual plugs are opposed cycles Exhaust and combustion, series exhaust fires 1st due to lower pressure than compression cycle before combustion.

If both in combustion both will fire in series with higher voltage requirements using single differential coil and same with twin coils.
