Will it work?

I thought you are using a 10-stage generator so the resistor question. A 10-step waveform would be much easier to match the resistor values.

I turned to that page of Don's book and found I had written 150K and 240K+VR next to the diagram. So I was sometime in the past indended to build such a thing but somehow I did not. Nice to know it does work as mentioned.
