Why only Semiconductors are used to make n-type/ p-type materials,
why not a conductor/insulator be used(Because only Valence Electron Take part in Func.)?
Is there any electronic Device where Intrinsic Semiconductors are used?

its physics and invented only worked with semiconuctors, focussed on semiconductor devices. why you really need a p/n type material instead?
think how intrinsic semiconductors are made? will it be practically posible? to keep the condition? also what is the use of them when there is a good alternative??

Its mainly because of energy gap between valence band & conduction band.In case of conductors they overlap while for insulators they are far apart. The kind of device we intend to develop by doping results in shift in energy band.So this type of clever manipulation is suited only for semiconductors as others are not viable.
