On board, for discharging / loading machinery / parts for the oil industry we pass the eye of the sling around them.

In the site, no crane is used but trucks able to pull and lift.

How do you call the parts circled in red?

Heard people calling them "trunions" but I suspect that is wrong.

I think that the correct expression is "lifting trunnion".

They are definitely "Trunion's".... They do not have to be for lifting.... they can be used for resting or swivelling... They are used as cantilevers as well.
