Voltage divider question

A few questions:


What formulas do i use to do the following

Calculate required resistor values R1,R2 to drop vin voltage by x amount to a required vout ?

Recalculate resistor values R1,R2 to supply more x current to Rload whilst having a stable vout voltage ?
