i was wondering if anyone knew of any good code to turn a vga monitor white... ive been trying, but i dont think my delay sequences are timed right. i dont care if the resolution is 10x10, i just want to get it working. ive been trying with a 20mhz pic16F84A, but i hope to use a 40mhz pic later on...

I think first of all you should turn all the colors on. By putting approx. 0.7V on the RGB pins...

And then generate an H V sync that the monitor recognizes so it turns on.
I would try to 'scope the H and V sync of a computer in action to see what they look like and then try to recreate them.

good luck
