tv blew up? help?

hi, first of all i have a 46" Panasonic 1080i HDTV CinemaVision TV, and i came home from work tonight and it wouldnt turn on, so i unplugged it and plugged it back in and then it made a really loud hiss noise and started immediately smelling like burnt plastic. I was wondering whats wrong with my tv, anybody know? Any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you!!
