:?: today at work a toroidal transformer was dropped and a material came out that looked like clear sand. Can anyone tell me what this is and why it's inside of the transformer ?
Well from what I understand I am told from the engineer at Torid Transformers that it is a clear silica sand used for heat transfer. I will do a bit more investigating before I come to a conclusion...
