I just relized I've been going post crazy in the past few weeks...

anyways, I have my drums/LEDs plugged into a surge protector and instead of unplugging it from the wall at night I just turn off the switch on the protector.

I would like to know if the surge protector will still save the equipment if its turned off.

I guess thats clear, feel free to ask any questions.

nothing does what it is suposed to do when it is turned off

It will most probably still provide the same degree of protection, although you should bear in mind it only reduces the chances of damage, and doesn't completely prevent it!.
