Software for drawing circuit diagrams

I'm looking for a piece of software to draw some simple circuit diagrams. I've seen quite a few circuit diagrams on the internet that look like this: **broken link removed** does anyone know what program is drawing them?

Does anyone know of a good *freeware* program for drawing circuit diagrams? I dont need to do anything with PCBs and don't need to simulate the circuit.

That looks like an Eagle CAD schematic.

That is an Eagle schematic drawing. Eagle is a good program to draw simple and more complex schematics. you can find it at **broken link removed**. replace the @ with a period to get the URL.
