Simple Trick For Solder Paste In Storage

For some parts, true. But CA (medium or time-thickened thin is what I use) is very similar to the Loctitie material that is used in commercial board houses. The advantage of CA is that it is not very stable to heat. So, once you solder the small part, most of the CA will be gone. For large parts that don't necessarily sit flush to the board, CA may not be useful, but I have no problem using a springy steel tooth pick to hold those parts in position while I attach one pin.
