Hi I'm new to PIC programming and have been provided with an assembly code. I need to convert the code to a hex code for simulating with Proteus. I've been advised to download MPLAB which I've done and I've loaded the .asm code and selected the PIC being used but cant find where to assemble it.
Sorry for the silly question.
Thanks

If you have the ASM file loaded, choose project/quickbuild from the menu. If the build succeeded without errors, the HEX file should now be in the same folder as was the ASM file.
