Here we go again.

Will it be alright if I shorted all the outputs of a 74LS32 ? ( only one output is necessary ). My existing circuit places the ouputs of the two OR gates next to the inputs of the other one, leaving another OR gate floating. I wanted to use all 4 OR gates, so I can use less ICs. I don't want to destroy any components by experimentation.

Thanks!

Don't connect the outputs directly paralel, the inputs of free gates don't leave floating. Connect it to positive supply with 10k resistor or direct to GND to avoid the self-oscillation and more power consumption.
