Sending data to pc from the PIC

hello all
i'm using microchip pic 18F
i wanted to know want do i need to do in order to send registers values from the pic to my terminal (which is connected in RS232)
i need to it for debug perpose in order to see the values of some of the registers

I suggest you try looking at the ICD2 in-circuit debugger clones in these forums, these allow just what you're looking for.
