Hello, I’m struggling to find a component I require.

I’ve attached a very crude drawing. It’s 8 legged. Struggling to find anything online that resembles it exactly. I believe it’s a dc/dc step down converter or something a long those lines.

Part of my problem is being unsure what to search for.

I’m UK based if that helps for sourcing replacements.

Thanks for any help

Thanks,

Here’s the best I can do with current equipment.

I’ve provided zoomed out images for context incase it helps. It’s close to a micro usb port used for power, if that’s any relevance. I’m guessing based on google searches it’s a dc/dc step down converter.

Thanks again for any insight.

If you shine light grazing across the chips, the indented printing on the chips will show up better. Also, if you set your phone on a box so it is very steady and use the timed shutter so your finger is not moving the opine, you should get crystal clear pictures. Make sure the box or whatever you use to hold the phone is about 12" from the chip (zoom in as needed to get good photos of the part numbers - but keep the phone/camera back from the parts so it can focus.

Thanks for your help. I’ve a digital microscope on its way if this is no good, so may have to wait for that.

This is the best I can get and I don’t think there’s much else to see even if I do get a clearer pic.

On the underside it has a contact which takes up the majority of it.

Thanks again
