What speed crystal do you have on pin 1 and 2... You need to use a 32khz one... you also need a 3v battery across pins 3 and 4... Have you a scope to check the crystal is running???
yes the crystal is 32.768.
I also am using 3 volts.
Where do I measure?

After I turn off my microcontroller oscillator is turned off.
If I do it again I get the information I need to set the ch bit.
In this case, The second change.

Probe both OSC pins to see the xtal ripple.. You should see a decent clocking wave on OSC2..

Why do you think it's not running????

Because After turning off the microcontroller base 7 will not start,
It indicates that the oscillator is not active anymore.

No! It indicates that your battery backup isn't connected.... If there is no external battery, when you cycle the DS1307's power, it defaults to power on reset..

Really??
I replaced the battery 3 V, 9 V battery I use.
I am using two resistors, 9 volts to 3 volts would become.
Is there a problem?

If you take the 3v battery backup power away. the DS1307 just resets.... The battery should stay there always...
