can any help with C programme that can sent an AT command AT+CMGF=1 via RS 232 to the GSM modem

You don't state which compiler, in BoostC it would be,

I am pretty sure that the AT command should be carriage return terminated.

thanx for replying to my question but am wondering if this command
puts("AT+CMGF=1"); will work because im using HI-TECH compiler.

what do you think
