Rf switch

Hello sir, i need an rf ckt that should make a 5v device(load) controlled remotely. Distance is not a factor i.e even 10m distance is enough.Suggest the best suited frequency for Rf switch. Also i have a doubt that, can i radiate pulses through an antenna i.e directly connecting the o/p of a timer ic.
