thanx for your reply, since the mn3004 & 3101 are no longer available am forced to sub the 3004 (panasonic) with a sony part but my problem is they don't have the same placement. am planning to just put up hook-up wires and connect it to an ic socket but it does not look good. is there another way to do this? any suggestion would be of help.
the 3101 is a cmos clock pulse generator, what can you recommend as a sub/
