replacement for ICL8038

can any one suggest it please

I think they are not available anymore even the good XR2206.
Some old stock is available with some sellers.

What about MAX038? don't know that also out of date.

Digikey and Newark don't have any.
Futurlec don't say if they have any or not.
Intersil don't say if it is still made or not.
 
It is amazing that they still have some. Maybe the high price explains why.

Some guy on Ebay has them for only $20 US +$6 shipping.
 
I was finding some function generator IC's too but they were not available.

Is there any other function generators which can find in 21st century?

AD5932. That's what I'm using.
 
It's a shame that they don't seem to make any function generator ICs these days. I wonder why?

Analog Devices makes DDS generators - I mentioned one of them several posts earlier. It's much better generator than old analog ones; it has wider range and is easier to use.
