I think they are not available anymore even the good XR2206.
Some old stock is available with some sellers.

What about MAX038? don't know that also out of date.

Find a supplier that handles NTE replacement semis. The NTE864 is an exact replacement for the 8038.

Analog Devices makes DDS generators - I mentioned one of them several posts earlier. It's much better generator than old analog ones; it has wider range and is easier to use.
