Question about tektronix oscilloscope

I recently acquired a Tektronix tds-360 as my first real oscilloscope. I've been following the service manual but can seem to get a line on ch1 only on ch2; any advice? I've tried adjusting the vertical beam position and stuff but nothing seems to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. -Ray

Center of scope. "MATH" should be off. REF 1 & REF 2 = off.
I can not remember how to turn on CH 2. I think it is under "VERTICAL MENU". "DUAL--something?"
You could try DISPLAY and ACQUIRE.

I noticed a few other things were acting weird so I factory reset it. That seemed to fix the problem
