Hello,
Can anybody suggest books for programming & interfacing guide to PLDs like AT 16v8 ?

And also i want to start working on FPGAs, so please suggest me some books...

Thanks...

On a side note there is nto much point using 22V10 or a 16V8 these days. You can not really do that much inside one (10 and 8 flip flops respectively!).

The Lattice M4A5 is a nice part and is still 5V, ispMACH 4A5.

The 64 macrocell part is available in PLCC and with a little enthusiasm can be soldered on stripboard with a PLCC socket.

As far as books go, I only ever brought a VHDL book and learnt the rest the hard way (not advised!)
