I want to do a project for my introductory course in mechE.
I came up with the idea of doing a fedex facility where a package comes in and is sorted somehow.
Does anyone have any ideas as far as how this can go?
I would assume Fedex already does something like that.
One idea is for the machine to read the bar-code on the package, which tells where it's going, and the machine uses that info to route it by conveyor to the proper loading dock. That's just a simple explanation.
