phone dialer

hey all,
I'm just starting out on doing some electronic circuit-building, and one thing that I've got a hankering to do is a circuit that will dial out on a phone line quickly (ie. to a radio station when there's a contest going on ) Does anybody know any sets of plans that i could take a look at for something like this? thanks.
