Hi everyone.

I've been given the task of creating a simple "Put-to-Light" system whereby a computer will output 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 to the Serial Port and I need an LED to light depending on which number was sent. The LED's represent the code sent.

I've used PIC's before, but never with Serial, and to be honest it was a long time ago!

Can anyone suggest a Serial board with LED outputs, or adise me on how to get started?

Any help would be great.

Cheers
CKF.
