I think you need to add x to your hex numbers

Can anyone explain and help me to solve that problem? Thanks.
My code is:
BANKSEL TRISA
CLRF TRISA
BANKSEL PORTA
MOVLW 0xFF
MOVWF PORTA
BANSEL TRISA
MOVLW 0xFF
MOVWF TRISA

value of PORTA and TRISA after my code is:
TRISA : 11111111
PORTA : 01000000

You need to turn off the analogue function. See post 3 of this thread for details.

Thanks. I forgot to turn of ADC in PORTA and change signal to PORTA is digital (not analog). Now, it run correctly

I added '0' front of 'FF' to make it as number, not label or variable. Of course, it equals 0xFF Thanks any way!
