Use the test lead from the resistor to check pins 16 , which should light the LED When you touch pins 8 the LED should not be lit because its 0V. OK.

So the problem is somewhere on that first LS192 , the one near the 74LS14, check around that IC. Last edited: Apr 2, 2010

Click to expand... hi, It depends how low the battery volts are.? but it could cause the circuit to fail. Try a new battery.
