Should we avoid using "google" as a general term and use "search online" instead - or is that a brand name lookalike too ?

When you say, "I'm Google-ing president trump" we all understand what you mean. If you say, "I'm Bing-ing president trump" you tend to raise more questions than answers. Even saying "I'm searching president trump" seems an appropriate action but not exactly what you mean.
