Thanks Bill. Yes it does seem a pain having to change banks and similar on the 16F! I had no specific reason for trying the 16F88 other than the fact it was neglected in my box.
Are there any situations when a 16F is preferable? Or are Microchip just keeping them for backward compatibility?
